On September 27th, another edition of the “World of Effective Microorganisms” conference took place in Prague, bringing together experts and enthusiasts of EM technology from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
What happened in Prague?
Our friend Michaela Alali Beitlová organized the conference “World of Effective Microorganisms” for the second time at the Pyramida Hotel in the center of Prague.
For the past three years, Michaela has been introducing EMs to a large number of people through her YouTube channel and webinars.
She has also become one of the main distributors of Greenland Technologia EM Ltd., which generously supported the event – a considerable achievement, as Michaela operates in a market where products are usually purchased in small quantities, unlike the agricultural market.
Michaela also undertook the translation and publication of my book Super Microbes in Czech.
It was very rewarding to see the enthusiasm with which it was received by the Czech audience.

Who spoke at the conference?
The program included, among others:
- Lukáš Udatný – on the role of microorganisms in soil, water, and health protection,
- Michaela Alali Beitlová – report from EM conferences in Okinawa and Bali,
- Dr. Maciej Jarzębowski – on building immunity and microbiome balance,
- Paulina Zajączkowska (CEO of Greenland Technologia EM) – presentation on practical applications of EMs in agriculture, gardening, and animal husbandry,
- Marcin Wikira (chief technologist at Greenland Technologia EM) – experiences in water treatment and the use of EMs for flood damage mitigation.
- Nicole Grospierre – EM and human waste
What role did the Hravé Hasly choir play?
Between program blocks, the choir “Hravé Hasly”, conducted by Lucie Hawa Goldin, performed.
Michaela also sings in the choir – the two of them live near each other.
Their songs conveyed a love for the Earth and the beauty of nature, even in its microscopic aspects.
It is music that opens hearts and connects listeners with the subtle.

How to combine EMs with art?
I greatly appreciated how Michaela engaged and at the same time introduced her friends – in this way they were recognized and honored, creating an atmosphere conducive to collaboration and building a strong community of EM enthusiasts.
In my presentation, I spoke about closing the nutrient loop and breaking the taboo around managing human waste.
I used artwork by my friend Yoanna Symbiosis.
I realized that beauty has a powerful effect – illustrations, even for very practical topics, don’t have to be literal.
Images and sounds that touch the heart change perception and turn knowledge into experience.
What do I dream of?
I increasingly believe that Europe’s contribution to the world of EMs could lie in “combining science and art.”
Because together, they resonate more fully.
PS. The bottle I’m holding in my hand is a gift from Michaela – a ferment of many flowers and fruits, blended by her friend.
i love you
